There is more momentum with the Bears, who made it four wins on the bounce. They got past the Steelers 31-28 last week, which was a tidy effort. That should give them confidence to beat teams like the Eagles, and now is the time to strike.
Getting a +6.5 start is generous. We expect them to be underdogs on the road against the defending champions, but we would have been happy with a +3.5 start.

Punters get $3 for D’Andre Swift to score a touchdown. He hasn’t scored for three weeks, but he’s the best TD scoring threat for the Bears on Saturday.
Caleb Williams is growing with confidence. The top NFL draft pick had a rough start to professional life, but he has led the Bears to a winning record. We have him throwing for 200+ yards against a hurting Eagles defence.
It should be a higher scoring game than anticipated. Over 44.5 points is worth including in NFL SGM picks. They haven’t played each other since 2022, where they combined for 45 points, and a similar score line is expected.

The odds for the Bears to win outright are good enough to include in picks. There is good upset potential with the visitors, who are loving life with four consecutive wins.
The offence has improved significantly, including 47 points against the Bengals and 31 points against the Steelers. Something close to that is good enough to make the Eagles sweat as a big road underdog.
