It has been an impressive defensive performance from the Chargers so far, who scored wins over the Chiefs and Raiders. They held the Raiders to only nine points on Tuesday, and they came away with many turnovers.
Not only do they have Justin Herbert at quarterback, but the defence is excellent. Khalil Mack got injured, but they have enough depth to cover him, and another big showing against the Broncos is likely.
Expectations weren’t high for the Broncos, who are 1-1. They should have won last week after getting penalised when the Colts missed a late field goal. However, that loss could have a flow-on effect, and the Chargers have no scar tissue.
Take the generous –2.5 line before money comes for the Chargers throughout the week.

Bo Nix could struggle to put up yards for the Broncos. He has only 382 passing yards in two games, so the 218.5 line is worth including in NFL SGM picks.
We also like Herbert 2+ touchdowns. He has five touchdowns on the year, and with his confidence levels growing, that should only result in more TDs. He’s also throwing economically, so limiting turnovers is a key to his success.
