Broncos vs. Chiefs Predictions

Best Bet
All is not lost for the Chiefs, who might be out of the playoff race and playing without Patrick Mahomes, but they have good players and a quarterback eager to impress.
Chris Oladokun takes over from Mahomes, and although he didn’t make an impact against the Titans when losing 26-9 last week, having more reps under his belt should be enough to see some improvement.
The Chiefs have the likes of Isiah Pacheco, Travis Kelce, and Kareem Hunt, who can all make a big difference in the game. Getting a +12.5 start is generous for the home team, and the Broncos come off a 34-20 loss to the Jaguars.
The Broncos rarely blow teams out of the water, and we don’t feel comfortable backing them to cover a –12.5 line, so take the underdogs to keep it close.

Same Game Multi
Our NFL picks have Pacheco having a good game as the Chiefs running back. He will be used a lot on offence, and the current 37.5 line is lower than expected. We think this is one of the best bets of the game.
Bo Nix could struggle at quarterback for the Broncos. The Chiefs’ defence has nothing to lose, so expect to see a lot of pressure and blitzes from the Chiefs. That could force Nix to use the running backs more often than usual.
Over 36.5 is a good bet. They had 41 points when Denver won 22-19 last month, and there should be more points than expected.

Best Value Bet
Kelce should want to show that he’s a standout tight end without Mahomes passing to him. It’s easy to look good with Mahomes at quarterback, so to be considered elite, scoring with Oladokun at the helm is needed.
He has only one TD in his last five games, which is a reason why the Chiefs haven’t had as much success as usual, so he should look to stand up and deliver a big play.
Getting $5.30 is a good price, so he’s worth backing.
