The Commanders started the season well, but after four consecutive losses and the injury to Daniels, everything has unraveled.
The Lions haven’t been overly good recently either with two losses in three weeks, but they are a much better team than that. Their defence has come unstuck a touch, but there is a lot on the line this week, and we expect the best from the Lions.
They take on a hurting Commanders team and covering the –8.5 line shouldn’t be too hard. They have a star-studded offence, including Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs, and they could be enough to put the Commanders to the sword.

We tend to bet on St. Brown and Gibbs every week, but apart from last week, they have been money for punters.
Gibbs has six touchdowns on the year, including a double two weeks ago against the Buccaneers. That’s the type of player we know and love, and the $1.68 odds to score a TD this week is worth including. Punters get the same price for St. Brown, who has seven TDs.
