Lions vs. Vikings Predictions

Best Bet
The Lions were dominating the NFC North at one stage, but after losing their last three games, the pressure goes on. They lost to Pittsburgh in tough circumstances on Monday, but the best way to bounce back is by winning.
Being on the quick backup should help the Lions, who have no reason to be struggling. Jared Goff is an elite quarterback, and it all comes down to attitude. However, they have won their last 10 games as road favourites, which is a good statistic.
The Vikings have improved recently with three straight wins, but they still languish at the bottom of the NFC North. Making it four on the bounce could prove too difficult, so stick with the Lions to cover the –5.5 spread.

Amon-Ra St. Brown didn’t score against the Steelers, but he scored two touchdowns the week prior against the Rams. That was a better performance, and the Lions need their top receiver at his best to have a chance of winning.
Jahmyr Gibbs is another important player who was barely used last week. He had two yards on seven rushing attempts, and we’re not entirely sure why the Lions decided to forgo their rushing attack against Pittsburgh. We have Gibbs rushing for over 73.5 yards in a bounce back performance.
They combined for 51 points when meeting in early November, and we predict a similar score on December 26.

Best Value Bet
The best way for the Lions to make an impression is by getting St. Brown into the offence as soon as possible. The Vikings could focus on the Lions’ running backs, which should leave their top receiver open in the back field.
He’s a good touchdown-scoring threat, and punters get $7.25. That’s an excellent price for a player of his quality, and he’s keen to bounce back after a disappointing game.
