Bulldogs vs. Raiders Predictions

The NRL continues with Round 19 action between the Bulldogs vs. Raiders on Saturday, July 11 at 5:50pm at Accor Stadium.

Most of the money during the week has come for the Raiders to cover the +4.5 spread, but the Bulldogs should prove tough to beat at home.

Given the weight of money for the Raiders, the line could move to –3.5, but both lines are worth including in NRL picks this week.

The Bulldogs have got back to their best at the right time of the year with three consecutive wins. They scored wins over the Eels, Sea Eagles, and Titans, and their 30-12 win over the Titans was a dominant outing.

It’s much better form than what the Raiders have offered recently, including three straight losses to the Roosters, Eels, and Storm. They come off a win over the Dragons, but they got lucky during that game, and it wasn’t a convincing victory.

We expected the Bulldogs to be –7.5 favourites, so the line is generous, and they shouldn’t have much trouble handing the Raiders another loss.

We had Jethro Rinakama in our multi bets when he scored a double against Gold Coast, and there is no reason to leave him out this week. He has two doubles in his last four games, so the $1.97 odds are worth including in multi bets.

Jacob Kiraz is the Bulldogs’ best scoring threat despite not scoring in his last three games. He has played with a niggling injury, but he should be ready to perform on Saturday.

We’re including under 45.5 points based on the Raiders’ lack of quality. They scored only 10 points in their last meeting against the Bulldogs, and we expect another low-scoring encounter.

This could be a statement game for the Bulldogs, and we’re going against what the market tells us.

They are the better team, and because they still have a solid chance of making the finals, the Bulldogs should want to put everything together.

We don’t like the attitude of the Raiders, and we predict a one-sided game at Accor Stadium. The $3.05 odds for a 13+ win are worth including in NRL picks as a value option.
