The NRL continues with Round 21 action between the Bulldogs vs. Warriors on Saturday, July 25 at 5:30pm at Accor Stadium.

The Warriors’ hope of a minor premiership could be on the line against the Bulldogs, in what could be the match of the round.

The Warriors have done enough to be second on the NRL ladder, and although we expect them to beat the resurgent Bulldogs, it will likely come by 1-12 points.

They were too good for the Dragons last week when scoring a 20-12 win. It wasn’t their most convincing performance, especially after dominating the Tigers in Round 19, but it was a tough and physical performance at home.

Most of their games against physical teams are close, which is why we’re taking $2.80 odds for a 1-12 win. The Bulldogs are a tough team to beat, and with four wins from their last five games, we’re giving the home side some respect.

They’re not as talented as the Warriors, but they’re good enough defensively to lose by 12 points or less, so take the odds for the Warriors to win a close game.

Alofiana Khan-Pereira has added a lot to the Warriors since joining this year, and his natural speed is often too much for the opposition. He has six tries in his last five games, and he could break the game open with an early try.

We also like Matt Burton to score for the Bulldogs at $3. He has a try in each of his last two games, and although he usually sets them up, he’s a strong runner close to the line. He boosts payouts in a big way, so include him in NRL SGM bets.

We have the Warriors winger scoring the first try of the game. He has become one of the premier finishers in the NRL, and he’s getting quality service from the Warriors’ halves.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is the current $6.50 favourite to score first, but if the Warriors head towards Khan-Pereira’s wing first, he has a good chance of scoring the opener.

The $7.50 odds are good enough to include as a value bet.
