The NRL continues with Round 27 action between the Cowboys vs. Raiders on Saturday, September 5 at 5:30pm at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

A close game is expected between the Cowboys and Raiders, and there could be an upset in the making.

The Raiders are out of finals contention, but they could cause an upset over the Cowboys, who aren’t playing their best footy at the back end of the season.

They lost to the Broncos in Round 25 before having a bye last week, and although that loss wasn’t ideal, they should play well with it being Josh Papali’is final game of his career.

The Cowboys got the better of the Wests Tigers last week, but it wasn’t a good performance. That followed a poor loss to the Eels, and we don’t have enough confidence in the Cowboys to include them in NRL picks this week.

We have the Raiders winning outright at $2.50, but it should be a close game, so we’re taking the +4.5 line. It’s a good line for a team that has plenty of pride on the line, and they tend to play their best footy without the pressure of making the finals.
