Kicking off action this week are the Cowboys and Roosters, who are currently inside the top eight, so it could be an early NRL finals look-in.

We have been impressed with their recent wins, and although they lost to the Dolphins two weeks ago, they bounced back with a win over the Broncos, which was an effort of a team wanting to play finals footy.

They showed their ability when beating the Panthers 26-12 in Round 17, and if they’re anywhere near that level, they could score an upset win over the Roosters, who enter this game on an impressive winning streak.

They dug deep to beat the Storm and Knights, but they should have put the Knights away easily last week. We have the Roosters losing a game before the finals, and it could come against the Cowboys on the road.
