The NRL continues with Round 7 action between the Cowboys vs. Sea Eagles on Thursday, April 16 at 7:50pm at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

The Cowboys have turned their season around with four consecutive wins, including a gutsy come-from-behind win against the Broncos last week.

Showing toughness is what the Cowboys needed after a slow start to the year, and that same toughness will be enough to beat the Sea Eagles, who have also turned their form around with back-to-back wins against the Dolphins and Dragons.

However, despite the Sea Eagles finding form, the Cowboys have looked more impressive, and with Scott Drinkwater and Jason Taumalolo playing well, anything is possible for this team. We have them covering the –4.5 spread, and they should win by around 10-14 points.

The Cowboys don’t win by 13+ points often, but we predict the Sea Eagles to struggle this week, and they could regress to their earlier form this season.

If the Cowboys start well, they have enough firepower to pile on the points quickly, and it’s only a matter of time before the Sea Eagles put in a poor performance for new coach Kieran Foran.

The $2.75 odds are worth including as an NRL value bet, and we expect money to come for them close to game time.
