The NRL continues with Round 10 action between the Dolphins vs. Bulldogs on Thursday, May 7 at 7:50pm at Suncorp Stadium.

With only two wins between them from their last 10 games, pressure is on the Dolphins and Bulldogs to perform to kick off Round 10.

There are concerning reports surrounding the Bulldogs, and with all that noise, the betting line has drifted from 5.5 to 6.5.

It’s not easy to win by more than a converted try in the NRL, but with the Dolphins coming off a big win over Melbourne, they’re on the verge of hitting top gear, which is bad news for a Bulldogs team going through the ringer.

The Doggies defeated the Panthers in Round 6, which was a great win, but they have been awful since. They lost by 16+ points in three straight games to the Eels, Broncos, and Cowboys, and based on those losses, we must include the Dolphins –6.5.

We would have preferred to take –5.5, but the Dolphins should still win comfortably.

Jamayne Isaako is getting it done for the Dolphins with three tries from his last two games. He’s not just a great kicker, but he’s also one of the best finishers in the NRL. The $1.80 odds are generous from bookmakers.

There should be plenty of tries scored in an open game, and most of the money has come for over 49.5 points.
