The NRL continues with Round 19 action between the Dolphins vs. Sharks on Saturday, July 11 at 3:00pm at Suncorp Stadium.

A cracking contest is expected to kick off Super Saturday as finals contenders Dolphins and Sharks meet for the second time this season.

The Dolphins could muster enough to beat Newcastle last week when losing 13-12, but considering the players they had missing, it was a good effort.

Regardless of whether their Origin stars return, the Dolphins will be awfully tough to beat. They could get the likes of Selwyn Cobbo and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow back in the team, and it’s the best backline in the NRL without much argument.

The Sharks are playing well after winning four of their last five. They lost to the Roosters poorly in Round 16, but they bounced back following a bye with a big win over the Broncos, so their confidence levels are high.

However, the Dolphins are 6-0 in their last six games in Queensland, and home field advantage should be too much for the Sharks to handle. We have them winning by 6-10 points, so take the –4.5 line.

Jamayne Isaako is now the second fastest player to reach 200 points in a season, and he’s racking up tries and conversions. The Dolphins’ winger has five tries in his last five games, including one last week against Newcastle, and he’s our top chance to score.

Trai Fuller could also get into the action. He’s not the biggest fullback you’ll ever see, but he’s speedy, and he has two tries from his last three games. The $2.30 odds give a good boost to NRL SGM bets.

High scoring games are normal for the Dolphins, so after scoring only 12 points in tough conditions last week, expect plenty of tries to be run in. Over 49.5 points is a good multi bet inclusion.
