The Knights welcomed back some stars last week and it had an immediate impact. Kayln Ponga makes a big difference to this team, and he led the Knights to a win over the Rabbitohs in dramatic fashion.

The defence might have been poor, but if the Knights can put points on the board, the Dragons could struggle to keep up, especially after losing 12 consecutive games. Nothing is going right for the Dragons, who were embarrassed by the Roosters 62-16 in Round 8.

They come off a bye, but we don’t think that will be enough to turn their form around. Take the Knights –9.5, as the line could move to double digits throughout the week. We expect the Knights to score a comfortable win and make a serious claim of being a top eight team.

A player who hasn’t scored tries recently is Bradman Best, but he could get back to his best. He is long overdue a try, and the $2.07 odds are generous enough to include in NRL picks.

Given how well the Knights’ attack played last week, over 52.5 points is a good addition. It should be an open contest, and it could be one of the highest scoring games of the week.

We are happy with anything above $2 for the Knights to win 13+. They should dominate the struggling Dragons in every aspect, and the Knights could score early and never look back.

Their attack was humming against the Rabbitohs last week, and with the Dragons going through some tough times, the Knights should keep their foot on the gas and cruise to victory.

The $2.15 odds are worth including as a value NRL bet.
