Eels vs. Storm Predictions – NRL Round 11 2026

The NRL continues with Round 11 action between the Eels vs. Storm on Saturday, May 16 at 7:45pm at Suncorp Stadium.

The Storm are 7-0 in their last seven games against the Eels, and money has come for them during Magic Round.

Best Bet

Storm –8.5 @ $1.90

The Storm needed the win last week, and it came emphatically with a 44-16 win over the Wests Tigers.

They had to endure a long losing streak, which we’ve never seen from the Storm, but despite being 15th on the NRL ladder, the season is never over for a team like the Storm.

A big win over the Eels is needed, and history backs a Storm win. They have won their last seven games against the Eels, including a 52-4 win at AAMI Park last season. If they’re close to that level, they should score another comfortable win.

With State of Origin just around the corner, there are many Storm players looking to make a case for selection. We think the likes of Cameron Munster and Harry Grant deliver the goods, which will be enough for the Storm to cover the –8.5 spread.

Same Game Multi

Storm -8.5, Will Warbrick Anytime Try Scorer, Nick Meaney Anytime Try Scorer, Under 54.5 @ $8.70

Will Warbrick was struggling with his form, mostly on defence, but he bounced back with a try-scoring double last week. If he is anywhere near that form, he should score a try against an Eels defence that can leak points.

Nick Meaney pays value odds of $2.55 to score. He has only one try from his last five games, but our predictions have the Storm scoring a big total, and he could help himself to a four-pointer.

Our final score prediction has the Storm winning 34-14, so we’re including the under in our NRL SGM picks this week. The Eels could struggle to score, and their heads drop when things aren’t going their way.

Best Value Bet

Sualauvi Fa’alogo First Try Scorer @ $7.00

Punters got the chocolates with Sualauvi Fa’alogo last week when scoring the first try, and there is no reason to jump off his back.

The Storm fullback is having an excellent year, and despite the Storm not putting many wins on the board, he has been their standout attacking player.

The $7 odds are worth including in NRL picks as a value bet.
