The season is all but over for the Roosters, who are surprise favourites against the Sea Eagles this week.

Given their respective positions on the NRL ladder, we expect Manly to win, especially coming off a Round 22 victory.

The Titans scored a great upset win over the Cowboys last week, and they’ll need to produce a similar effort to beat the Warriors.

New Zealand is inside the top three teams in the competition after a series of quality performances, and coming off the bye makes them dangerous.

They should be too much for the Titans to handle.

8:00pm Penrith Panthers vs Melbourne Storm @ BlueBet Stadium

The marquee game of the week sees the flying Panthers host the Storm, in could be the game of the year.

There doesn’t seem to be any slowing down for the Panthers, but the Storm smashed the Eels last week, and they usually improve as the playoffs approach.

Bookmakers have 9.5 points difference, which is too good to pass up for the Storm.

3:00pm North Queensland Cowboys vs Brisbane Broncos @ Country Bank Stadium

The winning run of the Cowboys came to a screeching halt on Sunday when losing to the Titans.

It was disappointing to see, and now they need to beat the Broncos, who won’t just lie down and let the baby brothers get the job done.

The market is trending in favour of the Cowboys, which is interesting, but it pays to follow betting moves. Therefore, we’re taking the Cowboys to bounce back.

7:35pm South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Cronulla Sharks @ Optus Stadium

The Sharks look like a fish out of the water at the moment, which is being reflected in betting markets.

They looked excellent a few weeks ago, but after some disappointing losses, the Rabbitohs could pile on the pressure.

South Sydney hasn’t looked overly impressive either, but it’s the –11.5 favourites, so expectations are big on Saturday.

2:00pm Parramatta Eels vs St George Dragons @ CommBank Stadium

The Eels were rampaged by the Storm last week and there were some concerning signs with the defence.

The likes of Clint Gutherson didn’t try hard enough, and considering they’re on the outside looking in, you would expect the opposite.

Bookmakers have 12.5 points between, and although the Dragons are terrible, the Eels aren’t good enough to win by 13 or more.
