The NRL continues this week for Round 24 action, kicking off with the Panthers vs. Roosters on Thursday night.

The Roosters are playing well, and it should be a tight contest, but the -1.5 line for the Panthers is too good to turn down.

Friday 14/8/26

6:00pm Sea Eagles vs. Dolphins @ 4 Pines Park

Betting Tip: Dolphins -5.5 @ $1.90

The Dolphins were 24-0 down to the Broncos last week and still won, so they should have no problems getting past a Sea Eagles team coming off five straight defeats.

It all went horribly wrong for Manly last week when losing to the Storm despite being 14-0 ahead. Their season has gone from bad to worse, and their defence could find it tough to stop the scintillating Dolphins.

We’re locking in the -5.5 line for the Dolphins before money comes for them.

8:00pm Bulldogs vs. Rabbitohs @ Accor Stadium

Betting Tip: Bulldogs -2.5 @ $1.90

The Bulldogs let a good opportunity go to waste against the Roosters last week, but they’re still playing well enough to beat the Rabbitohs.

South Sydney only narrowly defeated the Eels last week, and we’re worried about their form entering the NRL finals, and the Bulldogs could capitalise on Friday night.

The -2.5 line is always a tricky one, but the Bulldogs should cover the spread.

Saturday 15/8/26

3:00pm Sharks vs. Raiders @ Ocean Protect Stadium

Betting Tip: Sharks -9.5 @ $1.90

The Sharks were shocked by the Dragons last week, but the best way to respond is by beating the Raiders.

We expected the Dragons to play well last week, but we didn’t expect them to beat the Sharks. It was an untimely loss, but the Sharks have been a good team in 2026, and with the Raiders coming off a loss to the Knights, they’re unlikely to make the finals.

Punters should expect the Sharks to bounce back with a big win.

It seems like every year the Eels are out of finals contention at this stage of the year, but they tend to play their best footy against teams trying to make the finals.

They showed good toughness to battle back against the Rabbitohs last week after being down early, and that could be enough to see them beat the Cowboys.

2:00pm Knights vs. Titans @ McDonald Jones Stadium

Betting Tip: Knights -11.5 @ $1.90

Punters cashed in with the Knights as underdogs last week when beating Canberra, and there is no reason to jump off them against the Titans.

The Knights are a quality team in 2026, and although we don’t think they can win the premiership, they can beat teams like the Titans by 12+ points.

We can’t remember the last time the Dragons won consecutive games, but after beating the Sharks last week, there is no way we’re tipping against them.

The Dragons are playing one of the worst teams in the comp in the Tigers, who have slid all the way down to 14th on the NRL ladder.
