Things are looking bright after last week’s tips with 5 wins out of 8 matches and the added bonus of picking 2 exact margins with the Roosters and Dragons both winning by 14 points respectively. All eyes this weekend will be on the Roosters and the Storm, the only 2 teams after 4 rounds to remain undefeated.

Bulldogs $3.20 v Broncos $1.35

The bulldogs have looked competitive in their opening rounds though just can’t seem to get the job done. Only achieving 1 win to date. Last weekend the Bulldogs could not manage to even score 1 point with the Sea Eagles giving them a 36 – 0 education at Brookvale. The Broncos fought out a gutsy win against the Raiders at Suncorp winning by a field goal. The Broncos defence has been impressive in these opening few rounds as the season progresses these tight games now could just be the valuable lessons the young Broncos side needs to be a chance in the finals. Broncos will be too good for the Bulldogs even down at ANZ Stadium. Broncos by 22

Roosters $1.40 v Sea Eagles $2.94

If the Sea Eagles had almost any other team this week I would say they were a big chance, though coming up against the undefeated Roosters after such an outstanding performance against the Bulldogs last week will most likely put a holt to there aim of 2 wins in a row. Manly forwards were firing last weekend and the Trbojevic brothers were in sync, this combination could cause a lot of trouble for the Roosters big men up the middle. Roosters got off to a flying lead and despite only a 14 point score line never looked liked loosing. Their defence this year has been strong and the creativity in the halves has been outstanding. I think the Roosters will be tough to beat. Roosters By 8

Cowboys $1.30 v Rabbitohs $3.55

The Rabbitohs got off to a very disappointing start last weekend against the Roosters, not looking interested until the 2nd half. With the injury cloud still bearing over the club, there is no big expectations from the Rabbitohs early. In saying that, the Cowboys have been dealt the same cards and have lost a few big names early. With the expected return of Jason Taumalolo this weekend, the Cowboys halves will definitely welcome back the powerhouse forward. In Townsville the Cowboys are always hard to beat. Cowboys by 10

Sharks $1.15 v Knights $5.50

The Knights looked like the team from 2016 last weekend, being belted by the Panthers by 40 points. Unable to score any points the Knights never looked in the game. The Sharks had a Strong win over the Eels and will look to continue that form into this weekends match. I never look at the odds but in this case it is hard not to. Sharks by 30

Raiders $1.35 v Eels $3.20

The Eels have lost 2 on the trot. After leading the competition after 2 Rounds the Eels have slid out of the 8 to sit in 9th position. The Raiders have had a tough opening few Rounds. Meeting the Cowboys in Townsville and the Broncos at Suncorp. After welcoming back Jason Croker from injury and putting 46 on the Tigers in Round 3 the Raiders looked to be on the up. A tough 1point loss to the Broncos on the weekend sees the Raiders sitting in 11th position. Look for the Raiders to be fired up and ready to impress in front of a home crowd. Raiders by 16

Storm $1.55 v Panthers $2.45

The Panthers were impressive against the Knights last Friday afternoon and put on 40 unanswered points. With a memorable debut to young forward Corey Harawira – Narea there’s definitely a lot to look forward to for Panthers fans. However the Storm are equal competition leaders and their defensive records speak for themselves. The Storm uncharacteristically started off at snails pace against the Tigers and almost looked like missing out on the points. The Storm will be too good this week, but in a tight one. Storm by 4

Warriors $1.45 v Titans $2.75

With both the Warriors and Titans coming off losses, this game is anyone’s. The Warriors lost against and inform Dragons outfit by 14 points. The Warriors got off to an extremely slow first half giving the Dragons un retrievable head start. The Titans played the Cowboys in a high scoring match with both teams scoring 5 tries a piece, the only difference being a conversion and two penalty goals. The Warriors are always tough in front of a home crowd and with this match being Keiran Foran’s debut in front of a home crowd the Titans will have a tough task. Warriors by 14

Tigers $2.12 v Dragons $1.72

The Tigers looked impressive early against the Storm last week, but couldn’t manage to finish the game off. With a week to recoup the Tigers could be a headache for the Dragons, who will be looking to secure their 4th win of the season. The Dragons looked red hot again last weekend against the Warriors, with Gareth Widdop and Josh McCrone steering the ship and the Dragons forwards unstoppable again. The Dragons currently sit 3rd on the ladder and will be looking to protect their position. Dragons by 8
