Panthers vs. Broncos Predictions - NRL Round 20 2026Ended

The NRL continues with Round 20 action between the Panthers vs. Broncos on Thursday, July 16 at 7:50pm at CommBank Stadium.

Kicking off the week are the Panthers and Broncos, where the Panthers are firm favourites to keep their spot at the top of the NRL ladder.

Best Bet

Panthers -14.5 @ $1.99

Bet Now

It has been a shocking fall from grace for the Broncos, who won’t be defending their NRL title this season.

They’re riding a losing streak, which isn’t ideal when playing the best team in the competition, and we expect the Panthers to score a comprehensive win on Thursday night.

Covering a -14.5 spread isn’t easy in the NRL but based on their 36-14 win over the Rabbitohs in Round 18, they shouldn’t have much problem getting past the Broncos. They enjoyed a bye last week, so they’ll be fit and ready to fire.

The Broncos are a team that folds easily under pressure, and with their confidence levels at a season low, the Panthers should fancy themselves of scoring an easy win. Money has come for the Broncos to cover the spread, but our money is on the Panthers to win by around 20 points.

Same Game Multi

Panthers -14.5, Thomas Jenkins Anytime Try Scorer, Dylan Edwards Anytime Try Scorer, Over 44.5 @ $8.00

Bet Now

Thomas Jenkins knows how to score tries for the Panthers, and he comes off another big game. The winger scored three tries against the Rabbitohs, and he’s still at the top of the try-scoring ranks. The $1.55 odds to score are worth including in NRL SGM picks this week.

Dylan Edwards is paying much better odds of $2.55 to score. He scored a try against the Rabbitohs, and he likes to inject himself into the attack. We expect him to slice through the Broncos’ defence at generous odds.

It should be a high-scoring game, so we’re including over 44.5 points. They combined for only 26 points earlier this year at Suncorp Stadium, but the Broncos failed to score. Our prediction has Penrith winning 32-14, so include the over.

Best Value Bet

Thomas Jenkins 2+ Tries @ $3.05

Bet Now

When Jenkins scores a try, he usually makes it a double. He has plenty of multi-try games this season, including three of his last four games.

The Panthers’ winger was on fire against Souths with three tries, and he’s showing his ability to not only finish tries on the wing, but he’s a great aerial threat.

The $3.05 odds to score 2+ tries is too good to leave out.
