Not many predicted back-to-back losses for the Panthers to Gold Coast and North Queensland, but they remain at the top of the NRL ladder.

Origin has had an impact, as it does in this game, but after losing two games that they should have won, we expect coach Ivan Cleary to iron out the creases, which should result in a Panthers win on Friday night.

They were outplayed by the Cowboys last week, and although they had their best players back in the team, they couldn’t muster much. However, with Brian To’o being dropped from the Blues, he makes his way back to the wing.

The Rabbitohs turned their form around with wins over the Broncos and Eels, but it’s not a strong form guide, and the Panthers present a much harder challenge. We’re backing the Panthers to win by at least a try.
