It’s never easy betting against the Panthers, but we can’t turn down the +12.5 line for the in-form Sea Eagles.

They made it four consecutive wins with a victory over Parramatta last week, and with their confidence sky high, they could give the Panthers something to worry about in the second half.

The Panthers were too good for the Knights last week, but that followed a couple of struggling performances, including a loss to the Bulldogs, who have subsequently lost their next two games. It’s not stellar form, despite the Panthers being $2.50 favourites to win the NRL Premiership.

A close game is expected on Sunday night, and the Sea Eagles won their most recent meeting 26-10 at CommBank Stadium, which bodes well for the upset.

The early signs didn’t suggest the Sea Eagles were going to be a top eight threat, but they’ve knuckled down and play good footy.

As we’ve seen against the Bulldogs, the Panthers can be upset, so we’re snapping up the value odds from bookmakers, who aren’t giving the Sea Eagles much respect this week.
