There is a lot of talk about the Rabbitohs for this game, but we expect the Eels to come to play and cover the +9.5 spread.

They didn’t play well when beating the Tigers late last week, but even though there were more errors in the game than good moments, we don’t have much faith in the Rabbitohs playing well enough to cover the -9.5 number.

They lost 32-16 to the Sharks last week, and their two most recent wins came by only two points. We don’t think they’re capable of putting a team away with ease, so the +9.5 line for the Eels is better than we expected.

A close game should be on the cards, and the Eels could get a chance to steal the victory late in the game.

It has been too long since Josh Addo-Carr scored a try, but his best try-scoring form could return. He’s the Eels’ favourite to score at $2.12, and because bookmakers aren’t giving the Eels much credit, the odds are generous.

We also have Alex Johnson extending his all-time try record. It’s his last year for the Rabbitohs, and after scoring a try in each of his last three games, he’s playing better than ever. The $1.58 odds are short, but they give NRL same game multi odds a boost.

There should be plenty of points scored in this contest, and the $2 odds for over 46.5 is too good to leave out.
