The Storm need to win just about every game to have a chance of making the finals, and they could start with a win over the Rabbitohs.

They didn’t have their best game against the Roosters last week, but despite having very little ball in the opposition’s 20, it was still a close game until the Roosters put them away late. They deserve credit for that performance, and they’re on the cusp of a big win.

As the market suggests, that big win could come this week. Money has come for the Storm to win and cover the spread, which has firmed into –1.5 after opening at +4.5. We would have preferred the opening line, but based on how the Rabbitohs played last week, the Storm might not need the points.
