Raiders vs. Dolphins Predictions

The NRL continues with Round 12 action between the Raiders vs. Dolphins on Thursday, May 21 at 7:50pm at GIO Stadium.

Kicking off the shortened round are the Raiders vs. Dolphins, where the Raiders are slight favourites to win at home.

The Dolphins have turned things around with three consecutive wins, and although they’re dealing with State of Origin players out of action, they should have enough to beat the Raiders.

Canberra has two losses from their last three games, with the only win coming against the lowly Titans. They were no match for the Tigers or Panthers, and although they come off a bye week during Magic Round, we don’t think that will help them.

The Dolphins still have quality players in their team, with the likes of Jamayne Isaako, Jack Bostock, and Isaiya Katoa, so there is enough attacking power to put up points on the Raiders, who are also without three of their best players.

We’re happy with the $2.04 odds, and although it’s a tough game to predict, we don’t trust the Raiders to come up with the goods.

We also like the odds for Jack Bostock to score at $2.03. He returned from injury with four tries in his last three games, and he’s an excellent finisher. We expect him to score against a Raiders defence leaking tries.
