Raiders vs. Titans Predictions

Best Bet

Raiders –9.5 @ $1.90

There is money coming for the Raiders at –9.5, so it could pay to jump on the line before it moves.

The Raiders were shockingly beaten by the Bulldogs last week despite holding a 20-0 halftime lead. That won’t be easy to come back from, but the Titans historically struggle against the Raiders, and they very rarely win consecutive games.

When the Titans don’t turn up, they get run over. Before beating the Knights last week, they suffered 50-18 and 38-18 losses to the Cowboys and Bulldogs respectively, which is not a good look. We don’t rate them highly, and the Raiders are a genuine playoff contender.

Having beaten the Storm, Dolphins, and the Titans (30-20) already this year, the Raiders are the best bet at –9.5.

Same Game Multi

Raiders -9.5, Xavier Savage Anytime Try Scorer, Hudson Young Anytime Try Scorer, Over 48.5 @ $7.25

Based on their meeting earlier this year when the Raiders won 30-20 on the road, we’re including over 48.5 points in our NRL same game multis.

It’s a fair line from bookmakers, and the Raiders have posted totals of 40 and 50 points over the last five weeks, so they have plenty of points in the tank.

Those points could come from Xavier Savage and Hudson Young. Savage got back to try-scoring form with one against the Bulldogs last week, and he’s a powerful runner who could run through the weak Titans defence.

Young is playing brilliantly, and he’s putting his name up for the NSW Blues. He has five tries from his last five games, and he’s putting up numbers like the best wingers in the NRL. We’re happy with the $2.15 odds for Young to keep his run going.

Best Value Bet

Josh Papali’i Anytime Try Scorer @ $7.50

Scoring tries isn’t the forte of Josh Papali’i, but the Raiders metre eater could cross the white stripe for a four pointer.

He enjoys hitting the ball up right on the try line, and although he’s typically stopped just short of the line, the Titans defence around the fringes is often exposed.

Given the odds, we’re putting him in our picks to celebrate a try.
