The NRL continues with Round 11 action between the Roosters vs. Cowboys on Saturday, May 16 at 5:30pm at Suncorp Stadium.

It’s a one-sided line for the Roosters vs. Cowboys, but it should be a closer game than expected.

There has been no betting support for the Cowboys, which mostly has to do with Tom Deardon’s injury. However, the team is playing well, and Jake Clifford will control the offence.

Clifford is slated as a State of Origin pick, and he could have a big game for the Cowboys, who scored quality wins over the Sharks and Bulldogs before losing a tough game against the Eels last week.

That was a tough loss to stomach after leading late in the game, but we have been impressed by how well the Cowboys have bounced back from losses. They will be up against it against the Roosters, but 15.5 points is a big line.

We have the Roosters winning outright, but it should come by around 10-12 points. The Cowboys only need to defend well to stay in the game, so we’re snapping up the current line.

A big game from Zac Laybutt could be enough for the Cowboys to make a game of it. He has only one try from his last five games, but with no Deardon in the lineup, they need him to showcase his skills, so we’re taking the $2.20 odds.

James Tedesco scored a double last week against the Titans, and we’re not shocked to see shortening odds for the Roosters fullback to score a try. Punters get $1.62, and although it’s short, it’s worth including in NRL multi picks this week.
