It’s another marquee matchup on Friday night with the Roosters and Storm, where the Roosters are firming $1.28 favourites.

There has been a stack of money come for the Roosters, who firmed into –11.5 during the week. It’s a big move for the third-placed team, but it’s not surprising.

The Roosters are playing better than the Storm after winning four of their last five games, including the last three against the Sharks, Broncos, and Eels. They’re playing with confidence, and the Storm could struggle to keep up with them.

The Storm bounced back from a loss to the Sea Eagles with a win against Gold Coast. However, it only came with a late try, and narrowly beating the Titans isn’t an ideal form guide when playing a team like the Roosters.

Daniel Tupou made a big return when scoring three tries against the Eels, and he’s a player to follow. He is one of the best threats in the air, so expect Sam Walker to target him throughout the game. Include him in NRL SGM picks at $1.73.

Tupuo had a field day against the Eels, and although the Storm’s defence is slightly better, he could repeat his effort from last week.
