Sharks vs. Dragons Predictions – NRL Round 14 2026

The NRL continues with Round 14 action between the Sharks vs. Dragons on Sunday, June 7 at 4:05 pm at Ocean Protect Stadium.

The Dragons seek another upset over the Sharks to close out NRL Sunday, but the Sharks are firm favourites to win.

Best Bet

Dragons +11.5 @ $1.90

The Dragons had their best game in two years when beating the Broncos last week, and although they gave up a stack of late tries, they had enough in hand to beat the defending champions.

We don’t think they’ve turned a corner, but punters get them at +11.5 this week, and they could do enough to keep it close against an inconsistent Sharks outfit.

The Sharks come off consecutive wins against the Bulldogs and Sea Eagles, but they were made to look good, and not having Nico Hynes could work against them against a team like the Dragons, who like to roll through the middle before spreading it wide.

It would be in true Sharks fashion to make beating the Dragons harder than it should be, so take the underdogs to keep it close.

Same Game Multi

Dragons +11.5, Setu Tu Anytime Try Scorer, William Kennedy Anytime Try Scorer, Over 53.5 @ $9.00

Setu Tu has a try in four of his last five games, and the Dragons’ winger could crash over for another score. He might be a liability on defence, but he knows how to find the try line, so include him in picks at $1.77.

Paying better odds is William Kennedy at $2.50. The Sharks’ fullback is one of the hardest working players, and he could be rewarded with a try. He scored against the Bulldogs, and he’s worth including at the price.

Seven of the last eight Sharks’ games have gone over the total, and with the Dragons playing better on attack, this game should go over 53.5 points.

Best Value Bet

Dragons First Half Winner @ $3.25

Confidence levels are at a season-high level for the Dragons after beating the Broncos as massive underdogs, so they could come out firing.

They often get tired late in the game, as they did against the Broncos and the Panthers prior to that, so they could hold a halftime lead against the Sharks.

Punters get a healthy $3.25 with NRL odds, so snap up the value.
