Storm vs. Roosters Predictions

The NRL continues with Round 13 action between the Storm vs. Roosters on Saturday, May 30 at 7:35pm at AAMI Park.

One of the biggest games of the week sees the Storm host the Roosters, which would usually be a finals look-in, but now the Storm are just trying to save face.

There is a lot of respect for the Storm in betting markets, which is concerning, but we can’t turn down the –1.5 line for the Roosters, who are a much better team.

The Roosters currently sit in 3rd spot on the NRL ladder following a loss to the Cowboys, but that was a shock loss as the massive favourites, and we fancy their chances of bouncing back against a Storm team coming off a bad loss.

The Storm looked to have the win secured against the struggling Bulldogs last week, but they were outscored 16-2 in the second half, and that shouldn’t fill punters with confidence.

We had the Roosters as –6.5 favourites on the road, and they should bolster their finals hopes with a solid win over Melbourne.

Cody Ramsey could take advantage of the Roosters’ injuries, and he comes off a try-scoring effort against the Cowboys. He’s a firming $1.69 favourite for a Roosters player to score, and we have him included in our NRL SGM picks.

Robert Toia brings the value at $2.60. He’ll need to back up after playing State of Origin, but he’s a tough customer, and he could provide a big boost to our multi odds.

They combined for 50 points in their most recent meeting, and the Storm had only 10 points. We expect the score to be around 28-22, so include the over.
