The Storm are out of finals contention, but that could see their best form return against the struggling Sea Eagles.

Melbourne ended their finals campaign with a loss to the Bulldogs last week, making it three losses on the bounce. However, despite their defence being well below their usual standard, they still have a good team on paper.

We’re not convinced the Sea Eagles are worthy of playing the finals. They come off four consecutive losses to the Eels, Cowboys, Titans, and Sharks, and they were beaten by 36 points by the Sharks last week.

That was a poor effort, and the Storm would love to pile on the pressure. They should be more adept to playing in Perth, and punters get a generous $2.13 from bookmakers. They’re a team that could close out the season with a flurry of wins.
