We are surprised by the +4.5 line for the Bulldogs. They scored a come-from-behind win over the Storm last week, and they now play the Tigers coming off three consecutive losses since Jarome Luai announced his departure.

The Bulldogs might have turned a corner with the Round 12 win, and although they’re still having problems off the field, they have the likes of Lachie Galvin, Matt Burton, and Jacob Kiraz, which offset the players they could lose due to State of Origin.

The Tigers scored totals of 18, 16, and 10 points in their last three games. That’s a big concern, and they have seemingly given up knowing their leader is departing for PNG. It’s not a good look for a team that consistently struggles to produce wins, so we have no interest in betting on them at $1.56.
