About Bbet

An underrated bookmaker, Bbet is a New South Wales-based bookie that is owned and operated by Australians.

A wagering arm of The Behrmann Group, Bbet is located on-course at Rosehill and Randwick, and has been running for over 19 years.

With an office at Canterbury Park, BBet knows horse racing and provides Australian punters with an alternative to the more popular bookmakers.

While we are not partnered with Bbet and they don’t feature on our lists of the best betting sites and betting apps in Australia, Bbet are a solid betting option.

Bbet Website Design

When punters are first taken to the website, you’re immediately taken to the horse racing page. It shows how much emphasis they put on horse racing, but the sporting sections are still relevant.

It’s not the best-looking Australian bookmaker we have ever laid our eyes on. The home page is loaded with racing markets and it’s all a bit confusing, especially for learner punters.

It’s not well laid out and with a little more care, the Bbet website could improve significantly.

The website reminds us of a horse racing form book, where all the information is packed into a tight space. It will suit the “old school” style of punters but with more and more punters being under the age of 30, it won’t be appealing.

Overall, a little more care and the Bbet website could go from a 4/10 to somewhere around the 9/10 mark.

Bbet horse racing

Horse racing is certainly the best attribute of this site. They pack a lot of horse racing betting markets into the platform and there is racing from all around the world.

They are one of the few bookmakers that offer racing markets for French racing, with fixed odds available hours before the first race.

Bbet knows how important getting odds up early is to horse racing punters. Having fixed odds available on every race during the day is a great touch for the team, so we definitely recommend using Bbet for horse racing bets.

Odds wise, they are competitive in a tough market. There isn’t much difference between their odds and other bookmakers, so it’s neither a positive or negative.

Bbet offer early betting markets for the big races like the Melbourne Cup and The Everest are on offer for those who like to take the early odds.

Overall, horse racing gamblers will enjoy the range of betting options. They cover local and international racing very well and that should keep customers happy.

Bbet sports betting

Sports betting plays second fiddle to horse racing. However, that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in quality markets and odds.

Odds for the likes of cricket, NRL and AFL are all competitive. They help punters by showing the team logos next to the betting option, which is great for beginner punters.

A disappointing aspect is the amount of betting markets per sporting event. The likes of Big Bash have only 5-6 betting options available, which is less than what they could offer.

They offer only nine sports in total and that’s another negative aspect. However, the odds on offer are good and that’s all that matters to some punters.

Bbet customer service

The team at Bbet are always happy to hear from their customers. There is a hotline you can ring to get any help, which is available 8am – 6pm Monday to Saturday.

There is an email as well but no live chat, which is disappointing. Having a live chat option means punters can quickly access information about betting, disputes or general enquires.

Overall, it feels like a family in the customer service department. They are friendly and always willing to help punters.

Bbet Payment Methods

There are four ways to deposit into your account at Bbet

  • POLi
  • Bpay
  • Bank transfer
  • On course cash deposit

Bbet doesn’t list credit or debit cards as a viable depositing option. That’s a bit concerning, as most punters use this method to put money into an account.

Bank Transfer MasterCard PayPal Skrill Visa
