About EliteBet

Elitebet is the brainchild of Daniel Paolini and it’s operated out of Rosehill Gardens, so it’s very much a horse racing-centred bookmaker.

There is an experienced team with plenty of online bookmaking knowledge and they’re endeavoring to bring back the old-fashioned style of sports and horse racing betting.

It has been in operation since 2012, so it’s not a fledging online bookmaker and that counts for plenty. There are many new sportsbooks offering similar products, so Elitebet tries to provide something a little different with its own personal touch.

EliteBet website design

The website design at EliteBet mixes a bit of everything. We get an old school feel about the website, but it has enough technologically-advanced features to keep it relevant.

The last thing younger punters want is an outdated sportsbook. However, EliteBet merges the best of both worlds into a slick-looking online website.

There are upcoming races at the top of the page and the latest and most popular sports are on the left and right-hand side of the page. It can look a little cluttered with so much information available, but it’s not lacking in optionality.

It has a yellow and black colour scheme and it suits the eye nicely.

Yet another site using the BetMakers platform, the EliteBet website provides a familiar user experience, making it one of the best betting sites Australia has to offer.

EliteBet sports betting

We are not huge fans of how the sports betting section is presented. However, despite the navigation issues, the product available is good enough.

The biggest sports are covered at EliteBet, including tennis, rugby league, Australian rules and football. The staples are all there and there’s also some niche sports, including darts and snooker.

Our biggest gripe with EliteBet are the odds available. Punters don’t get overly generous odds for points spread markets, which offer $1.85 lines for the smaller sports such as overseas basketball. That’s significantly lower than the $1.87, $1.90 or $1.91 lines offered by the bigger bookmakers.

It’s disappointing to see and we always encourage punters to shop around for the best lines. Therefore, EliteBet needs to improve its odds if punters are going to stick around.

On a more positive note, they offer competitive lines for sports such as NRL and AFL. They have $1.90 lines, and considering their target audience is Australians, it’s good value.

EliteBet is not a GoBet partner so they are not currently ranked by us. Our top bookmakers and betting sites are currently betr, Bet365Neds with Ladbrokes coming in a close second.

EliteBet horse racing

EliteBet horse racing is where this bookmaker comes to life. Given their history and being located at one of Sydney’s premier tracks, we’re not surprised.

The odds available on Australian and New Zealand racing markets is excellent and odds for the favourites are often just as good as the big bookmakers.

The team at EliteBet know what they’re doing and punters can bet on local thoroughbred, harness, and greyhound action, including racing from overseas.

It’s a comprehensive horse racing section and it’s the shining light of EliteBet and we like them for betting on our Melbourne Cup tips for trifecta.

EliteBet customer service

There is no live chat available on EliteBet, but according to the website, it’s coming soon. We would love to see live chat because customers want quick solutions and live chat offers it.

There is a betting line and customer service line to call if you have any problems. Punters can also email with any queries.

The team is always helpful and friendly, which is a big bonus.

EliteBet deposit options

The easiest and fastest way to deposit is using either a debit or credit card. Funds are added to your account instantly, whereas a bank transfer can take up to 72 hours to hit your account.

Electronic funds transfers take longer but they are secure and a good way of avoiding potential fees. EliteBet also allows customers to deposit using cash at a bank – which puts them on par with most online bookmakers in Australia.

EliteBet withdrawal options

KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements apply to Elitebet, so you will need to send in some verifying documents to withdraw your funds. Punters usually have to verify their ID and proof of address, but it takes five minutes to complete and then you’re able to withdraw your funds.

Once you are verified, punters can withdraw back onto the card used to deposit or via a bank transfer. You also have to verify the card you used to deposit, which is standard practice with online bookmakers to ensure your safety.

EliteBet app

The EliteBet betting app makes it much easier to place your sport and horse racing bets, especially as more and more punters use their phones to gamble.

It’s available on Android and iOS devices and can be found at the Apple Store and Play Store, so it’s easily accessible.

It makes placing bets on the go easy and if you’re betting on your phone, using the EliteBet app is a must if you’re on the move or betting with friends after a game of golf.
