Australia plays its third Rugby World Cup game on Monday morning against Wales, and it’s all-or-nothing.
It has been a disappointing campaign for the Wallabies, who are the underdogs to beat Wales, who would also love a win.

Wallabies vs. Wales Predictions
What can we say about the Australian team at this World Cup? They defeated Georgia 35-15, as they should have, before losing to Fiji.
The 22-15 loss to Fiji was a shocker, and it showed just how out of touch Eddie Jones has become. He left experienced players in Australia, and they would have been invaluable in games like this.
It’s why bookmakers have the Wallabies at $2.02 to win the game outright. In years gone by, Australia would have been the solid favourite to beat Wales at the Rugby World Cup, but times have changed.
However, there is a chance for Australia to turn it around and qualify for the finals. A win against Wales gives them a chance, and it’s not beyond this team to turn it around.
Wales got their campaign started with a 32-26 win over Fiji, which is a good form guide. We thought they would win easier than that, but Fiji have proven to be a tough team to beat in 2023.
They followed it up with a 28-8 win over Portugal, which wasn’t fantastic. Scoring just 28 points against Portugal is average at best, so we’re unsure if punters want to take $1.80 for Wales.
Our biggest worry with Wales is that they often underperform in the World Cup. Australia might be struggling to play their best, but the odds are there to be taken, and we’re biting.
Getting $2.02 for Australia is a great price, and there’s more points with the Wallabies, so Wales could struggle to keep up.

Wallabies vs. Wales Exotic Tips
We expect plenty of points on Monday, as both teams should want to show out.
Australia has many try scoring options, including Marika Koroibete, who could bust through the Welsh defence to score the opening try.
He’s a $17 chance to open the proceedings, which is better odds than we expected. He’s also $2.88 to score at any time throughout the game, so back the Australian Fijian to cross the line and get Australia off to a positive start.
We also like Josh Adams to score for Wales. He has been in good try-scoring form, and he’s their biggest threat. Bookmakers have Adams at $2.75 to score.
For a bit of value, punters can take Australia to lead at halftime and fulltime. It’s always a riskier betting option, but punters get $2.90 for Australia/Australia, which is worth snapping up.
If they’re any chance to beat Wales, they must start well and apply the early pressure. It should set up a first half lead, and the odds are too juicy to ignore.
Bet: Marika Koroibete @ $2.88
