Only 4 teams remain in the business end of Euro 2020 and all 4 sides are only 2 games away from clinching European glory. England and Denmark face off in Wednesday’s second semi-final whilst Italy take on Spain in a blockbuster clash on Tuesday. All 4 sides have been in excellent form throughout the competition and how they would love to cash in and lift the trophy at Wembley next Sunday.
UEFA Euro 2020 Semi-Finals Preview
Italy vs Spain – Wembley Stadium, London
Match Winner Odds:
Italy – $2.58
Spain – $3.20
Draw – $3.30
Few sides have displayed the fluency and attacking prowess that Italy have so far at Euro 2020 and their excellent display against Belgium last time out underlined their credentials as one of the favourites to lift the Euro 2020 title next Sunday. Roberto Mancini will have been pleased to see his side dig deep to win that one, with the likes of Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne impressing in attacking areas too. They know they will have to be at their best to beat a Spain side that is fluent in possession, but they look to have a game plan for all the sides they come up against.
It has been a topsy turvy campaign for Spain, who failed to impress in their opening two games – drawing with both Sweden and Poland to heap the pressure on Luis Enrique. Team selection and formation was brought into question, but a 5-0 thumping of Slovakia was followed up with a remarkable 5-3 (AET) win over Croatia and they look to have plenty of momentum within the camp. Despite scoring early against Switzerland in the last 8, they were largely wasteful and only scraped through on penalties – underlining the perceived inconsistency within the squad. They are a side capable of beating anybody on their day though and may relish being the underdogs against Italy here at Wembley.
Odds and Predictions
Neither side have been able to stop scoring of late and although there is plenty on the line, a very open game is in prospect here.

Lorenzo Insigne to score anytime – $3.75 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The stakes in this one simply could not be higher and with so much at stake, tensions could boil over between two combative sides at Wembley.

Italy 2 – 1 Spain – $10.00 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This could be a much closer game than many anticipate, with Spain more than capable of beating Italy if they play anywhere near their best. The Azzuri however look to have the bit between their teeth at Euro 2020 and with big game players in form, they could well book their place in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley on Sunday.
Italy to win the match – $1.53 – Bet @ Sportsbet
England vs Denmark – Wembley Stadium, London
Match Winner Odds:
England – $1.76
Denmark – $5.90
Draw – $3.75
With two potential games left to play in their national stadium, England have not had a chance to taste glory like this since Euro 1996. Gareth Southgate looks to have all the players on board and the whole squad looks to be playing with confidence. Wins over Germany and Ukraine have underlined their excellent attacking prowess, whilst the fact they have yet to concede a goal at Euro 2020 has gone under the radar a little and they are the justified favourites here.
Despite starting off on the worst possible foot, it has been a tournament to remember for Denmark who came from nowhere to qualify from their group and are now looking to emulate the European Championship winning side of 1992. They dispatched of Wales with ease in the last 16 before showing real grit and determination to overcome the Czech Republic in Baku. They will see this game as a completely free hit, against a side and a nation expecting to win at their national stadium and the pressure is very much off the Danes in this one.
Odds and Predictions
England have yet to concede a goal at Euro 2020, but Denmark’s multiple threats could unnerve them from the outset here.
Both teams to score – YES – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Manchester City star Raheem Sterling looks to have come of age once more and his performances of late for England have silenced plenty of critics.
Raheem Sterling to score anytime – $3.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This looks set to be a game decided by fine margins and one mistake could prove costly, making a penalty to be awarded in the game a realistic shout.
A penalty to be awarded in the game – $3.25 – Bet @ Sportsbet
England 2 – 1 Denmark – $8.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Discarding Denmark would be hugely foolish, and they have proven in this tournament and in previous incarnations that they are a serious force to be reckoned with. This England team however looks to be purring, eager to prove everybody wrong and they will be desperate to get over the line here and reach their first ever European Championships Final.
England to win the match – $1.76 – Bet @ Sportsbet
