English Rugby League Challenge Cup Quarter Finals

Saturday 5/4/25

4:00am Catalans Dragons vs Salford Red Devils @ Stade Gilbert Brutus, Perpignan, France

Catalans are coming off a nail biting one-point loss at home to St Helens and are showing signs of playing to their full potential.

Salford on the other hand were belted by Wigan last weekend and remain in off-field turmoil following the appalling takeover by their new owners which saw two players refuse to play over a delay in pay.

The bookies are not offering odds on this match as we don’t know what lineup Salford will put out, but you can bet Catalans will win and win comfortably.

Betting tip: N/A

5:00am Wakefield Trinity vs Leigh Leopards @ The DIY Kitchens Stadium, Wakefield

In what is scheduled to be a rematch of last weekend’s Super League fixture, Leigh will travel to Wakefield in a bid to get revenge for their 40-14 defeat at home.

It is concerning how many points Leigh have conceded over the past two weeks after surrendering 30 to Hull KR the week prior.

The bookies have this match even, but I think the home crowd will be too much for Leigh.

Betting tip: Wakefield H2H @ $1.90

11:30pm Hull FC vs Hull KR @ MKM Stadium, Hull

What an exciting match-up this is set to be the undefeated Rovers head across to the other side of the city to take on their in-form rivals in the battle for Hull.

Hull KR are coming off a dominant win over Leigh while the black and whites are surging into some form under John Cartwright having won their match against Castleford.

Hull KR look too strong but I’m banking on this being a tight match.

Betting tip: Hull FC +10.5 @ $1.90

Hull KR by 6

Sunday 6/4/25

11:30pm Warrington Wolves vs St Helens @ Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington

St Helens got lucky in the south of France over the weekend in their one-point win over Catalans but the same could be said for Warrington who just edged out Leeds by two-points.

Warrington have been a bit shaky since their trip to Vegas at the start of the season but look to be steadying the ship since Marc Sneyd arrived a couple of weeks back.

Very hard to get a read on St Helens at the moment, they’re capable of a lot more than what they have been dishing out lately.

I expect this match to go to the death and I trust the boot of Marc Sneyd more than anyone in field-goal situations.

Betting tip: Warrington H2H @ $1.80

Warrington by 1
