Super League Round 14 Tips

Saturday 15/6/24

5:00am Hull KR vs Huddersfield Giants @ Craven Park, Hull

Both sides enjoyed a weekend off while the Challenge Cup took place, but Huddersfield arguably needed it more.

They were able to put a stop to their losing streak with a win over Hull FC before the break, whereas Hull KR outfought Leigh in a gritty battle.

Ian Watson has also stated their fullback Jake Connor won’t feature against the Rovers which could hint at some friction amongst their squad following Connor’s on-field discipline issues.

Betting tip: Hull KR -10.5 @ $1.92

5:00am Warrington Wolves vs Salford Red Devils @ Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington

Warrington were disappointing in their Challenge Cup loss to Wigan, they weren’t belted – but they lacked cohesion, and it looked as though the lights may have been just a bit too bright for Burgess’ men.

Salford on the other hand enjoyed the week off following an easy win over London a week prior.

I think Sam’s boys will be up for a bounce back performance in an attempt to put Wembley behind them.

Betting tip: Wolves -10.5 @ $1.83

5:00am Castleford Tigers vs Wigan Warriors @ The Jungle Stadium, Castleford

It’s always tough to pick how a team will perform a week after their big win at Wembley – but I don’t expect Matty Peet’s men will have gotten too sidetracked with their celebrations.

They showcased over the weekend why they are such a classy side making the big games look easy.

Meanwhile, Castleford had the week off after being beaten 32 to 4 against Leeds a week earlier.

Betting tip: Wigan -14.5 @$1.83

12:00am Hull FC vs Leeds Rhinos @ MKM Stadium, Hull

Leeds have been disappointing this season, yet they still sit two points out of a playoffs spot.

Hull FC on the other hand are continuing to fight, but are treating the rest of this season as a rebuild without the threat of relegation at seasons end.

Leeds should win this comfortably, if they don’t expect a coaching shake up.

Betting tip: Leeds -7.5 @ $1.83

Leeds by 12

2:30am Catalans Dragons vs Leigh Leopards @ Stade Gilbert Brutus, Perpignan, France

Catalans will be hungry for a win after suffering a disappointing loss to St Helens before the Challenge Cup break.

Leigh on the other hand are desperate for competition points and are taking a healthy contingent of fans down to the south of France for the occasion.

They will be without John Asiata and Rob Mulhern which is a tough loss.

Betting tip: Leigh +9.5 @ $1.83

Catalans by 2

Monday 17/6/24

12:00am St Helens vs London Broncos

I’m convinced St Helens are on the cusp of their 2024 coming out party after sitting through all the praise Wigan have received adding the final piece of silverware to their trophy cabinet.

London is continuing to put up a fight week in and week out, but they just don’t have the squad for this match-up. `

Saint’s will win this comfortably and I wouldn’t be surprised if Paul Wellens opts to rest some of his men especially following the week off.

Betting tip: Saints -35.5 @ $1.83
