Super League Round 21 Tips
Friday 9/8/24
5:00am St Helens vs Salford Red Devils @ Totally Wicked Stadium, St Helens
Boy did St Helens need that win over the weekend… given that it was over Hull FC it is hard to take a lot away from the win but it was an important hump to get over as they look to get their season back on track.
Salford came from behind against a Leeds side that were quick out of the gate with Kallum Watkins in red hot form scoring a double against his former club.
St Helens still have several players out with injuries and suspensions including Jonny Lomax and Jack Welsby.
Betting tip: Salford +10.5 @ $1.79

5:00am Huddersfield Giants vs Catalans Dragons @ John Smith Stadium, Huddersfield
Both sides are coming off round 20 losses and will be keen to strike back this weekend.
Catalans were beaten by London in a major upset which put their playoff hopes into question however they gain the services of new recruit Reimis Smith this weekend.
Huddersfield did well against Wigan but they continue to be a bit of a bogey team who shows up every second week.
Betting tip: Catalans -3.5 @ $1.79

5:00am Hull KR vs Castleford Tigers @ Craven Park, Hull
For a brief few days Hull KR sat atop of the table following the conclusion of the weekend matchups but were overtaken on Wednesday morning when Wigan defeated Leigh in a catch-up match.
They were solid against Warrington stamping their authority in the race to the playoffs whereas Castleford had a shaky 10-point loss to Leigh.
The red and whites are tough to beat at home and have one of the best home crowd advantages in the league, but it is a huge spread.
Betting tip: Castleford +19.5 @ $1.92

Sunday 11/8/24
12:00am Leeds Rhinos vs Wigan Warriors @ AMT Headingley Stadium, Leeds
Leeds are coming off a disappointing loss to Salford – a match-up where they were strong out of the gate but crumbled in the second half.
Wigan on the other hand will be playing their third match in nine days so could have some tired legs on the pitch.
This game could be a real grind but Wigan have a good record at Headingley.
Betting tip: Wigan -3.5 @ $1.79

Monday 12/8/24
12:00am London Broncos vs Warrington Wolves @ Cherry Red Records Stadium, London
What a surprising performance from London over the weekend continuing to punch well above their weight this season.
Warrington were outplayed in every facet of the match over the weekend against a Rovers side that had their best performance of the season.
Can London ride a wave of momentum this week and keep this match close?
Betting tip: London +25.5 @ $1.85
Warrington by 22
12:00am Leigh Leopards vs Hull FC @ Leigh Sports Village, Leigh
Leigh were outplayed by a Wigan side on Wednesday morning that was without a number of key players.
It will be their third match in 10 days which could pose some fatigue problems but there is a chance Tom Amone will be back which would be a huge inclusion for Adrian Lam’s side.
Hull FC were outclassed by St Helens last week and could have their attention on the off-season.
Betting tip: Leigh -13.5 @ $1.79
