There are some key Super Rugby games this week and we have free betting tips for every match.
Friday features a double-header with the Blues vs. Highlanders followed by Waratahs vs Lions. Both games will have an impact on the playoffs and it should start the week off with a bang.
5:35pm Blues vs. Highlanders @ Eden Park
Bookmakers have the Highlanders as only 7.5-point favourites this Friday against the Blues and we think this game will be more one-sided than they’re thinking.
The Blues are coming off a win, we’ll give them that, but that came over the hapless Sunwolves and the Highlanders are coming off a stunning 43-17 win over the Brumbies.
The Blues have been horrible this season and it’s tough to see them compete against one of the best New Zealand franchise teams this year.
There might be some players out for the Highlanders due to the All Blacks training camp but that shouldn’t affect this result.

7:45pm Waratahs vs. Lions @ Allianz Stadium
The Waratahs did what they needed to do last week and that was secure a win over the Reds.
In a season which has recently featured some off-field distractions, the Waratahs will look to push towards the playoffs with a win over the visiting Lions.
Lions’ fans would have been given confidence after their 52-31 win over the Stormers in Round 8 before enjoying the bye last week.
How will travel affect the Lions this week? That’s the big question and there has been serious doubts over their form all season, but this Lions team might just be warming up.
It’s hard to get excited about the Waratahs this season and the Reds could take advantage.

5:35pm Crusaders vs. Sunwolves @ Rugby League Park
We have never seen a team start at $1.005 in Super Rugby but that’s what punters are being faced with here.
The Crusaders are going to put up a big number against the Sunwolves this weekend and it’s purely about judging the winning margin.
Bookmakers have the line set at 37.5 and we think that favours the Crusaders.
The Sunwolves have nothing but heart to offer, but that shouldn’t be enough to get close here.
Betting tip: Crusaders –37.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

7:45pm Reds vs. Chiefs @ Suncorp Stadium
Both teams are coming off Round 9 losses but the loss for the Chiefs was much more respectable.
They had a chance to beat the Hurricanes in the second half and the score line didn’t do that game justice.
The Reds, on the other hand, were woeful against the Waratahs, giving up 37 points in a lacklustre performance.
For a team that has shown some signs of improvement this season, it was disappointing to see the Reds succumb so easily and that doesn’t bode well for this week’s game.
The Chiefs love playing counterattack rugby and that’s what they should get here. Expect the Reds to kick the ball away and give the talented Chiefs’ backs to shine.
Betting tip: Chiefs –13.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

11:05pm Bulls vs. Rebels @ Loftus Versfeld
The Bulls couldn’t have been more impressive last week when beating the Sharks 40-10 in a one-sided game.
The bye week clearly paid dividends for the former South African powerhouse and they will be looking to continue that momentum at home against the Rebels, which are heading in the opposite direction.
After suffering another loss, this time to the Jaguares after controlling much of the game, the Rebels find themselves slipping down the conference ladder.
Travelling to South Africa isn’t going to improve their mood and it could be another tough week for the Melbourne franchise.
Betting tip: Bulls –11.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

1:15am Sharks vs. Stormers @ Kings Park Stadium
We’re not sure what to make of the Sharks performance last week and we’re putting it down to the travel factor.
The Sharks looked good in New Zealand before heading back home, but they were soundly beaten by the Bulls last week.
Same goes for the Stormers, which returned home for a 52-31 loss to the Lions before enjoying the bye last week.
This is going to be a close game and it will be all about attitude, but the advantage is with the Sharks which have the more talented squad that can put on the points.

4:05pm Brumbies vs. Jaguares @ GIO Stadium
The Jaguares pulled off a win out of nowhere last week against the Rebels and the Brumbies are next on the radar for the Argentinians.
Snatching a win from the jaws of defeat, the Jaguares stunning 25-22 comeback win should give them a much-needed boost as they prepare for the Brumbies.
Coming off a 26-point loss to the Highlanders, the Brumbies will need to show a big turnaround to be competitive in this game.
We’re picking an upset to close the week.
