Round 11 is shaping up to be the most important round of the season to date.
For many of the teams winning will be extremely important for their playoff chances and there are some intriguing matches this week.
We have free tips and form for all six Super Rugby games this week, which kicks off with the Hurricanes and Sunwolves on Friday night.
5:35pm Hurricanes vs. Sunwolves @ Westpac Stadium
The Sunwolves got close to the Crusaders last week but the horrible conditions might have played a part in that.
The Japanese franchise hasn’t gotten off the ground since coming into Super Rugby and it’s not about to get any easier as they come up against the Hurricanes this Friday.
It’s not meant to be great weather in New Zealand’s capital, which will help the Sunwolves and bookmakers have set the line at a big number.
41.5 points is the margin the Hurricanes will need to cover and in we’re not sure they’ll be able to if it’s wet.
This game all depends on the weather.
Betting tip: Sunwolves +41.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

11:05pm Stormers vs. Rebels @ Newlands Stadium
The Stormers might have lost a close game to the Sharks last week but we were impressed with what we witnessed.
They come into this game with a good deal of confidence and the same can’t be said for the Rebels, which suffered another loss.
A 28-10 loss to the Bulls continued the slide of the Rebels, which led the Australian conference earlier in the season.
We’re not sure why they have suddenly struggled to win but they have never been a successful franchise and we are seeing why.
This could be a close game but the value is with the home side.

3:05pm Reds vs. Lions @ Suncorp Stadium
We thought the Lions would beat the Waratahs as underdogs last week but we didn’t see the 29-0 score line coming.
The Lions dismantled the Waratahs in a one-sided affair and now they face an easier Australian team which struggled against the Chiefs last week.
Coming off a 36-12 loss at home, the Reds need to start showing some consistency and that’s not going to be easy against South Africa’s best side.
There were distressing signs for last year’s beaten finalists earlier in the season but the Lions are starting to show their roar and it could be a bad sign for the Reds this week.
Betting tip: Lions –12.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

5:35pm Blues vs. Jaguares @ Eden Park
It has been trying times for the Blues this season but they have decided to stick with their coach for the meantime.
The Blues suffered another loss to a New Zealand franchise last week and they should be happy about playing the Jaguares this week as they play similar styles.
We thought the Jaguares represented value against the Brumbies last week and they came out humming. The 25-20 win over the Brumbies showed punters that the Jaguares can win on the road.
That is a bad sign for the Blues, which are out of playoff contention and have only pride to play for, but we’re predicting a turnaround in form.
The Blues will be desperate to win.
Betting tip: Blues 1-12 @ $3 (BET NOW)

7:45pm Brumbies vs. Crusaders @ GIO Stadium
The Brumbies had every chance to produce points against the Jaguares last week but they just couldn’t put it all together.
Losing 25-20 at home against a team that doesn’t travel well isn’t a good sign at this stage of the season and although their inspirational captain returned, it hasn’t reflected in the win column.
It’s not about to get any easier as the Crusaders come to town with a winning record and a passion for winning.
They did enough against the Sunwolves in driving rain last week and the 33-11 margin would have been much bigger had conditions improved.
We can’t see the Brumbies sticking with the Crusaders, who have fire power across the park and should dominate this game from start to finish.
Betting tip: Crusaders –14.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

1:15am Bulls vs. Highlanders @ Loftus Versfeld
This should be one of the closest games of the week as the improving Bulls take on the in-form Highlanders.
Bookmakers have the Highlanders as $1.45 favourites to win and based on form that’s probably spot on, but the Bulls represent value at home after notching a quality win last week.
They won 28-10 against the Rebels and there were good signs throughout that game. It backed up a 40-10 win against the Sharks in Round 9 and that form could carry over here.
$2.75 for the Bulls to win is a good price.
