Punters have been treated to some great Super Rugby action this season and there are some quality Round 4 matches this week.
The biggest game of the week sees the Hurricanes take on the Crusaders in Wellington on Saturday night and it will determine which Kiwi side has the early-season momentum.
There’s also some great Australian and South African games this week and we have tips and form for every Round 4 clash.
5:35pm Highlanders vs. Stormers @ Forsyth Barr Stadium
It hasn’t been the start the Stormers were hoping for after losing to the Waratahs and Crusaders having beaten the Jaguares in Round 1.
The Highlanders have played only one game, which was a convincing 41-34 win over the Blues and although they gave up plenty of points, their offence was on form.
Playing a second consecutive home game is also going to help, especially against a Stormers side which has done plenty of travelling in three weeks.
Bookmakers have the Highlanders as firm favourites and it’s tough to disagree with that based on form and expectations this season.

7:45pm Rebels vs. Brumbies @ AAMI Park
We’re not used to seeing the Rebels leading the Australian conference but after back-to-back wins to open their account, that’s the situation.
The real test will come against the Brumbies this week, having faced only the Reds and Sunwolves so far, but beating the Brumbies would give them a great deal of confidence moving forward.
The question for the Brumbies is whether they can respond after being beaten by the Reds as heavy favourites last week. The 18-10 defeat was poor by the standards of the Brumbies, but it’s early days and they could improve quickly.
These two sides have traded wins over the past few seasons and it’s the Rebels time to shine this week.

5:35pm Hurricanes vs. Crusaders @ Westpac Stadium
The Hurricanes got back on track when beating the Jaguares last week after suffering an upset loss to the Bulls to kick off their season.
It’s about to get real for the home side, however, as they take on the 2-0 Crusaders this Saturday night in what should be a hotly-contested affair.
It has been business as usual for the defending champions, which have started perfectly in beating the Chiefs and Stormers to top the New Zealand conference.
They were a touch disappointing in the second half against the Stormers last week, but the victory was already in the bag so we’ll forgive that effort.
Bookmakers have framed this the closest game of the week and it could go either way.
Betting tip: Crusaders to win @ $1.95 (BET NOW)

7:45pm Reds vs. Bulls @ Suncorp Stadium
The Reds looked woeful in their first game of the season against the Rebels when losing by 26 points but it was a stylish bounce back performance against the Brumbies.
Winning 18-10 was exactly what was needed for the struggling franchise, which was struggling to find any rhythm in Super Rugby.
They’ll look to continue the momentum against the Bulls, which have had to travel from South Africa after losing to the Lions last week.
An upset win over the Hurricanes kicked off their preparation and if they can repeat a performance like that, the Reds could struggle to produce consecutive wins.
Betting tip: Bulls to win @ $2.20 (BET NOW)

12:05am Sharks vs. Sunwolves @ Kings Park
The Sharks are the shortest-priced favourite of the week at $1.05 and it’s tough to see them getting beaten at home.
Despite remaining winless after two games this season, the Sharks are knocking on the door and the Sunwolves simply don’t travel well.
The Japanese franchise were comfortably beaten by the Rebels last week the statistic of having never won an away game in Super Rugby doesn’t bode well for the visitors.
Betting tip: Sharks –23.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
Sharks by 27
2:15am Lions vs. Blues @ Emirates Airline Park
The Lions have picked up where they left off from last season with three wins from three games to start this season.
Last season’s finalists, the Lions have beaten the Sharks, Jaguares and Bulls already this season and they will welcome the Blues this week.
The Blues somewhat choked against the Chiefs last week and that effort was concerning for Blues fans and punters.
They showed little enterprise and were beaten by an injury-ravaged side. The Lions should pounce on that lack of confidence and we’re predicting a comfortably victory for one of the best Super Rugby teams this season.
Betting tip: Lions –9.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

8:40am Jaguares vs. Waratahs @ Velez Sarsfield Stadium
Wins have been hard to come by for the Jaguares this season but they’ll be looking to get on the board at home this Sunday morning.
The Argentinian side has lost to the Stormers, Lions and Hurricanes in three games this season, but they have always had the ability to turn that form around in the blink of an eye.
The Waratahs don’t play well away from home, despite coming off a 24-24 draw over the Sharks. Consistency is also a worry for the New South Wales-based side and we think the home side could muster enough to win.
Betting tip: Jaguares to win @ $2.32 (BET NOW)
