Punters will be treated to one of the best Super Rugby rounds this Easter as there are six quality games to be played.
Local derbies and heated rivalries is the flavour of the six-game round, which includes the Chiefs vs. Highlanders, Brumbies vs. Waratahs and Lions vs. Crusaders, just to name a few.
We have free tips and form for every game this Easter which kicks off this Friday night.
5:35pm Chiefs vs. Highlanders @ FMG Stadium
The Chiefs enter this rivalry game having scored an enthralling 61-10 win over the Sunwolves last week, but the opposition is about to be stepped up.
Highlanders’ fans would have been disappointed with the 29-12 defeat at the hands of the Hurricanes last week but there wasn’t much between the two sides, just some finishing quality.
Bookmakers are finding it tough to split these two sides as the Chiefs are returning from a road trip to Japan and that’s never easy, whereas the Highlanders have enjoyed playing in New Zealand.
In a tough game to predict, we’re going with the Highlanders as they’re relatively injury-free compared to the Chiefs.
Betting tip: Highlanders to win @ $1.95 (BET NOW)

7:45pm Rebels vs. Hurricanes @ Melbourne Stadium
The second game of a Friday night double-header shouldn’t disappoint Super Rugby fans as the Rebels take on the Hurricanes.
Rebels were convincing winners over the Sharks last week, winning 46-14 in a one-sided affair, but there’s a lack of respect in the betting markets.
Currently priced at $4 to win, the Rebels are despised underdogs for this game against the Hurricanes and although the team could be missing some of their players, they deserve more respect than they’re currently getting.
Facing the Hurricanes isn’t going to be easy, however, as they’re coming off a 29-12 win over the Highlanders in the NZ conference, which is considered the strongest in the competition.
Packed with All Blacks talent, the Hurricanes could roll through the Rebels but we’re picking a close and exciting game.
Betting tip: Rebels +10.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

5:35pm Blues vs. Sharks @ Eden Park
The Blues will be refreshed after their bye week and they come up against a Sharks team which isn’t offering much this season.
Having been beaten 46-14 by the Rebels last week, the Sharks are needing to find form away from home and quickly, otherwise their ambitions to play in the finals could be fading.
The Blues are the worst team in the New Zealand conference but still a dangerous side when their heads are screwed on.
Their win over the Lions in South Africa was a good example of what the Blues can produce on any given day and although the Lions haven’t franked that form, it shows the Blues can step up when needed.
Bookmakers are expecting an easy win for the Blues and it’s tough to disagree with that.
Betting tip: Blues –13.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

7:45pm Brumbies vs. Waratahs @ GIO Stadium
Both teams are coming off bye weeks and both teams are coming off wins.
The Waratahs were overwhelmingly good in the second half against the Rebels in Week 5, winning by 51-27 after being down at the half.
Brumbies scored a tough 24-17 win over the Sharks and although the Sharks aren’t putting up much of a fight down under, it was still a quality win.
It was hard to not get carried away with the Waratahs’ win over the Rebels and the talented side finally showed up when it counted.
Bookmakers have the Waratahs as the slight $1.80 favourites but we’re expecting more money to come for the visitors as opposed to the Brumbies.
Home ground advantage shouldn’t matter for much here, so take the Waratahs at good value.
Betting tip: Waratahs to win @ $1.80 (BET NOW)

1:15am Bulls vs. Stormers @ Loftus Versfeld
The Bulls travel back home after an unsuccessful trip to Australasia and they will have to prepare for the Stormers, which played in South Africa last week.
Travel could be the biggest negative for the Bulls this week, which were easily handled by the Crusaders last week, losing 33-14.
The Stormers were 25-19 winners over the Reds in a fast-paced game, which should hold them in good stead for this game.
Confidently picking winners in the South African conference has been tough for punters this season as form is seemingly temporary, but the Stormers should have too many guns for the home side here.
Betting tip: Stormers to win @ $1.65 (BET NOW)
Stormers by 10
10:30pm Lions vs. Crusaders @ Ellis Park Stadium
We’re not sure what’s happened to the Lions over the past few weeks, but they certainly don’t look like the team which lost in the Grand Final last season.
This Grand Final rematch should be one of the games of the round and the Crusaders, coming off a win over the Stormers, should enjoy the challenge.
Injuries haven’t helped the Crusaders of late and loses to the Hurricanes and Highlanders has put them on the back foot in the NZ conference.
The Lions lost to the Jaguares last week 49-35 in what was one of their most disappointing efforts in recent history. Showing little defence and giving up almost 50 points can’t be done in Super Rugby if you want to succeed.
Playing a more polished team in the Crusaders isn’t going to help and although they have to travel to South Africa, the Crusaders should hold the edge.
Betting tip: Crusaders –6.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
