Friday 10/7/20
7:05pm Rebels vs. Reds
The Rebels fought back against the Brumbies last week but they couldn’t bridge the gap late. It wasn’t a bad performance, however, so punters should be confident of their chances this week.
It won’t be an easy task against the Reds, who are coming off a gritty performance against the Waratahs. The Reds were leading for most of the game but gave up a three-point lead late in the piece.
They didn’t help their chances by losing a player to the sin bin, but despite being a man down, the Reds fought back with two penalties to win.
It was a performance that will spark confidence in the camp and the Reds are a team that could win the competition.
Bookmakers have a tight market and the value is with the Reds.

5:05pm Crusaders vs. Blues
The Blues haven’t beaten the Crusaders in Christchurch for a very long time but they have to team that could cause an upset.
The Auckland-based franchise is unbeaten since Super Rugby returned and despite their woes playing in Christchurch, we wouldn’t rule them out.
They have beaten quality teams this season and they would have been a title chance if the complete season continued.
However, the Crusaders are coming off a big second half over the Highlanders and it was impressive. They were three points down at half time but still won by 20 points.
A close game is expected and the Blues could easily cover the +8.5 points.

7:15pm Waratahs vs. Force
The Western Force return for the revamped Super Rugby season and not much is expected this season.
They return without much experience to call upon and the Waratahs are well-favoured to get the better of them this week.
Not much is going right for the Waratahs this season and they had every chance to beat the Reds last week, but couldn’t finish off the game.
They had a one-man advantage but gave up two late penalties to lose. The ‘Tahs should get the better of the Force, who will be extremely rusty for this clash.
Bookmakers have only 11.5 points between them and that favours Waratahs’ punters.

1:35pm Hurricanes vs. Highlanders
The Hurricanes scored a must-win victory over the Chiefs in Hamilton last week and that momentum should carry through.
They looked very good in the victory and despite a late Chiefs comeback, it was a dominant display in tough conditions.
Not much has gone right for the Highlanders this season and after leading the Crusaders at half time, they were subsequently smashed by 20 points.
Punters aren’t getting much value with the head-to-head line of $1.34, but there is good value in the points spread market.
The current line is 6.5 and we are confident the Hurricanes can cover the spread with some ease.
Betting tip: Hurricanes –6.5 @ $1.90 – Bet Now
