Super Rugby continues this week with four games, kicking off with the Chiefs vs. Highlanders on Friday night.
The featured games in Week 14 include Blues vs. Hurricanes and Force vs. Reds, which have big implications on the Super Rugby ladder.

We thought the Highlanders played well to beat the Waratahs last week, so we’re surprised by the +16.5 line against the Chiefs.
There is no doubt that the Chiefs are the testing material, but it’s an all-New Zealand game, and they’re usually competitive. Therefore, we’re jumping on the line and hoping for a close game in Hamilton on Friday night.
Money could come for the Highlanders, so jump on the line.

As bad as the Waratahs have been at times this season, we’re backing them to cover the spread against the Drua.
They were beaten by the Highlanders in a tight contest last week, and although the Drua come off a bye week, having beaten the Highlanders at home in the week prior, it should be a tight contest against teams needing a victory.
Punters should expect both teams to do a lot up front before spreading the ball wide. That should suit the Waratahs, so snap up the +8.5 line from bookmakers.

We didn’t like what we saw from the Blues last week against the Crusaders, and they could struggle to keep the Hurricanes from scoring a big total on Saturday afternoon.
The Hurricanes continued their winning run with an easy win over Moana Pasifika, and although beating the Blues is a harder task, they are well-equipped to score a comfortable win in Auckland, and the conditions should be ideal for running rugby.
The –4.5 line is better than expected, and the ‘Canes -4.5 is one of our best Super Rugby bets of the week.

There isn’t much between the Force and Reds with Super Rugby odds, but there has been late money come for the Force to bounce back from a loss to the Brumbies.
We gave them a good chance last week but not much went their way. However, against a Reds team that has struggled over the last few weeks, they could capitalise with home field advantage.
Being the favourites is encouraging, and it could come down to a late penalty, which should be enough to secure the –2.5 win.
