It has been a tricky year for the Crusaders, but they get their best players back, and that should make a huge difference.
Playing with the likes of Will Jordan, Sevu Reece, and Codie Taylor makes the Crusaders a tough team to beat, and with the Chiefs having played last week while the Crusaders enjoyed a bye, we give the advantage to the home side.
Punters get $2 for them to win, and although it will be a close game, they could pull out the stops late in the game.

There is a lot on the line for both teams on Friday night, and although the Waratahs need the win more, we’re backing the Brumbies to prevail.
They have been the more consistent team this season, which is why they’re paying $1.50 on the road, and they come off a tidy 32-15 win over the Force, which wasn’t a guaranteed win against a Force team playing much better.
The Waratahs scored a good win over the Drua, but it was slack defence all round, and the Brumbies could capitalise.

Saturday 23/5/26
There isn’t much to get excited about for Moana Pasifika fans, who have only two weeks left in Super Rugby before being dissolved.
They haven’t played well enough on the field to generate a good level of interest, and as the odds suggest, the Reds should take advantage with an easy win in Auckland to kick off Saturday action.
The Reds would love a sizable win with the playoffs nearing, and they shouldn’t have much trouble putting up a big score on the struggling Moana Pasifika.

The Hurricanes are a much better team than the Highlanders, but it’s rare to see a one-sided game between New Zealand teams.
The Highlanders haven’t played too poorly this season, and although they were hammered by the Chiefs last week, which included losing one of their best players to injury, they could keep this game close.
Conditions should play into their hands, and the ‘Canes could take their foot off the gas in the second half.

The Drua played their worse game of the season last week when losing heavily to the Waratahs, and the score made them look good.
They are likely to struggle against the Force, who have a good chance to hit back following a loss to the Brumbies, and they’ll find this level of opposition more to their liking.
We expect the Force to win comfortably at home, as the Drua don’t travel well.
