We have expert betting tips for all seven Super Rugby games for Round 17 this week.
It’s the penultimate week of the regular season and there’s plenty on the line for many of the Super Rugby teams.
Action kicks off with the Highlanders vs. Bulls on Friday and ends with the Jaguares vs. Sharks, which should be a quality game.
5:35pm Highlanders vs. Bulls @ Forsyth Barr Stadium
The Highlanders don’t have much to play for this week but there’s plenty on the line for the Bulls.
They come into this game having scored a hard-fought draw against the Blues last week and a win against the Highlanders would put them into a good position in the South African conference.
Bookmakers have the Highlanders as the firm $1.29 favourites despite this, but the Bulls could come ready to play in this situation.
Take the +10.5 points on offer.

7:45pm Reds vs. Blues @ Suncorp Stadium
The Reds haven’t won since Round 12 but they’re always a chance against the Blues. They played well enough against the Jaguares to warrant attention and could give the Blues a run for their money this week.
Blues are coming off a 22-22 draw against the Bulls but that was a game they let slip. They were up for most of the game but failed to put the Bulls away.
Playing away from home is never easy for the Blues and punters should expect a close game here.

5:35pm Crusaders vs. Rebels @ Rugby League Park
We’re not sure what’s got into the Crusaders of late. They have always been one of the most consistent Super Rugby teams but they gave up a 20-0 lead to the Chiefs last week.
They’ve also had two recent draws and there’s plenty of questions being asked of this experienced unit.
The Rebels lost a vital game to the Waratahs last week and now they’re behind the Brumbies in the Australian conference. They’re better than the Brumbies but they lack consistency.
Unfortunately for the Rebels, they might come up against a hungry Crusaders team this week.
Betting tip: Crusaders –17.5 @ $1.90 – Bet Now

7:45pm Waratahs vs. Brumbies @ Bankwest Stadium
Bookmakers are expecting a close contest with the Waratahs holding a slim $1.75 advantage in head-to-head markets.
They come into this game having scored an upset win over the Rebels last week and another win will be needed to see them stay in the hunt for a playoff spot.
For the Brumbies, they got to the top of the rankings with an easy win over the Sunwolves last week and now the real test begins. Can they hold that top spot? Or will the youthful lineup play against them?
Tough game to call but we’re going with the Waratahs in a close one.

11:05pm Lions vs. Hurricanes @ Ellis Park Stadium
The Lions stayed within touching distance of the Jaguares with a win over the Stormers last week. The 41-22 win was a very good effort and one that resembled their form of the past two years.
It hasn’t been a consistent season for the Lions and facing the Hurricanes could see that consistency take a hit again. The Hurricanes are coming off a 30-17 win over the Sharks and they’re building momentum nicely.
The ‘Canes are second in the NZ conference and could move closer to the Crusaders with a win in South Africa.
Betting tip: Hurricanes to win @ $1.56 – Bet Now
Jaguares by 10
1:15am Stormers vs. Sunwolves @ Newlands Stadium
The Stormers are the shortest-priced favourite of the week at $1.04 and most punters would be expecting a dominant victory.
This season has been improved from the Sunwolves but they’ve hit the wall recently and should lose again on Sunday morning.
Stormers are looking to bounce back from a 19-point loss last week and the Sunwolves were bounced by a similar margin of 23 points against the Brumbies.
23.5 points is tough to cover for the Stormers but they can get the job done.

5:40am Jaguares vs. Sharks @ Estadio Jose Amalfitani
The Jaguares are one of the form teams in the competition and they had a great road trip in Australasia.
They looked good when beating the Reds last week and their open-style play is both exciting to watch and effective against the tiring forwards.
Sharks can provide a stiff test this week but the Argentinian-based franchise is firing on all cylinders and the home crowd should only help.
