It’s the final round of the Super Rugby season and there are seven quality games to bet on this week.
With playoff positions still up for grabs, it promises to be an action-packed Round 19 of Super Rugby and we have free tips for every game on the schedule.
5:35pm Chiefs vs. Hurricanes @ FMG Stadium
The Chiefs and the Hurricanes have shown glimpses of quality form this season but both teams have also shown signs of weakness.
Chiefs come into this game having scored consecutive wins over the Highlanders in Fiji and the Brumbies last week but they were expected to put away with Brumbies in easier fashion than they did. There were negative signs in that win but playing two straight home games should help.
The Hurricanes own a seriously good back line, which includes a wealth of All Black talent but just when they look unbeatable, they produce a poor result.
We’re smelling a home upset here at nice odds.

7:45pm Reds vs. Sunwolves @ Suncorp Stadium
The Reds have looked a more impressive side over the last few weeks but both of these teams are languishing near the bottom of their respective conferences.
Coming off an impressive 37-23 win over the Rebels last week, the Reds will again look to use home ground advantage when welcoming the hot-and-cold Sunwolves, which will need to lift after a thrashing last week.
Losing 77-25 to the Waratahs was a wake-up call for the Sunwolves, which have improved nicely this season but still need to rid those big losses out of their system. They should be able to right the ship somewhat this week but ultimately lose.

3:15pm Highlanders vs. Rebels @ Forsyth Barr Stadium
It has long been a tough time for the Australian teams playing in New Zealand and given that the Rebels have a poor record against the Highlanders, it’s likely to continue again.
With a lengthy winning streak at Forsyth Barr Stadium, the Highlanders will look to finish their season strongly after consecutive losses and playing the Rebels should ensure they get every chance to take the points here.
The Rebels currently sit in second position behind the Waratahs in the Australian conference but they can’t make any headway and we’re doubting their chances of beating an attacking Highlanders team with plenty to prove.
Betting tip: Highlanders –12.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

5:35pm Crusaders vs. Blues @ Rugby League Park
The Crusaders come into this game with a significant winning streak over the Blues and they’re clearly the best team in the Super Rugby competition.
Looking to repeat their 2017 title, the Crusaders have won 13 of their 15 games this season and although tested by the Blues earlier this season when winning 32-24, they had something extra in hand and this result should be no different.
With a team stacked with All Black talent and a coach who knows how to manage a game, the Crusaders will look to pick on the inconsistencies of the Blues, which look good in patches but can’t sustain the good play.
Another home win for the Crusaders looks likely and they should pull away late for a comfortable win.

7:45pm Waratahs vs. Brumbies @ Allianz Stadium
The Waratahs have come out saying that they possess the best back line in Super Rugby and while that statement isn’t true, we admit their confidence.
Leading the Australian conference, the Waratahs will look to put more space on the Brumbies with a win this Saturday night and given the form of the Brumbies, the Waratahs look like good value at the head-to-head odds this week.
We though the home side would be much shorter than $1.44 in the betting and there’s also good value in the points spread market at –6.5.
Betting tip: Waratahs –6.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

11:05pm Lions vs. Bulls @ Ellis Park
The Lions will need a win to secure their spot at the top of the South African conference as the Jaguares play on Sunday morning.
Having had an up-and-down season, the Lions look to gather momentum heading into the playoffs and secure their second consecutive trip to the final. This has been a learning experience for the Lions this year and they should have too much class for the Bulls.
The Bulls have been relatively poor this season but they do come into this game having beaten the Jaguares 43-34 last week and that was one of their better performances of the season.
Stringing wins together hasn’t been easy for them this season, however, and that could be their problem this week. The Lions possess a different threat to the likes of the Jaguares and we’re expecting them to struggle.

1:15am Sharks vs. Jaguares @ Kings Park Stadium
Desperation could be the key for both teams here and the better team are the Jaguares, but can they be successful playing away from home?
Their form outside of Argentina has been suspect this season and although they sit in second in the South African conference, there were signs of distress against the Bulls last week. Scoring points has been no problem for the Jaguares and playing an up-tempo game will likely be on the cards.
It’s hard to be inspired by the Sharks this season, especially coming off a poor loss last week and we’ll go with the upset here.
