Waratahs vs. Force Predictions – Super Rugby Week 12 2026

We have Waratahs vs. Force predictions for Super Rugby Week 12 on Friday, May 1 at 7:35pm at Allianz Stadium.

The all-Australian battle is one of the featured games this week, and there could be an upset in the making.

Best Bet

Force @ $2.45

Credit the Force for having their best season in years and we have them beating the Waratahs on the road.

They scored a big win over the Crusaders two weeks ago before getting a bye week during Super Round, so they will be ready to produce another big effort on Friday night, and punters get generous $2.45 odds for the underdogs.

The Waratahs suffered a 35-20 loss to the Crusaders last week. They didn’t play too poorly, but they haven’t exceeded expectations in 2026, and we’re not interested in betting on them at $1.52, which is far too short.

With two wins from their last three games, the Force is a much better bet at the odds. We rated them at $2.10, so we’re snapping up the value.

Same Game Multi

Force H2H, Dylan Pietsch Anytime Try Scorer, Zac Lomax Anytime Try Scorer, Over 53.5 Points @ $8.50

Dylan Pietsch scored a try in each of his last two games, and we have him scoring again. He is a $2.10 chance to score, which gives a good boost to Super Rugby SGM odds.

Paying the same odds is Zac Lomax, who scored his first Super Rugby try last week. The former NRL star could be the next rugby superstar, and although Rugby 360 didn’t pan out for him, he could make his mark for the Force.

Defence has taken a backseat in the competition this year, and it should be another high-scoring contest. Include over 53.5 points in multis.

Best Value Bet

Force Halftime/Fulltime @ $3.40

We want to maximise the value for the Force, so we’re locking them in to lead at halftime and fulltime.

Getting off to fast starts has helped the Force post a few wins, and if they put pressure on the Waratahs early, the hosts could crumble. The ‘Tahs haven’t produced a full 80-minute performance for some time, which doesn’t bode well for them.

Punters get a healthy $3.40 for the halftime/fulltime double, which is better than expected, and it’s our best value bet for Friday’s action.
