The 24-time grand slam winner was beaten in the semifinals at Wimbledon against Sinner, and he hasn’t played much tennis since due to battling injuries, but we’re happy to include him in our US Open predictions.

He’s the G.O.A.T, and he could amaze tennis fans once again.

Much like Djokovic, Alexander Zverev won’t get a better chance to record his second grand slam win of the year.

The German won the French Open before losing in the final at Wimbledon to Sinner, and making the semis in three consecutive grand slams is a good effort. He’s having a resurgence, and as the odds suggest, he should make another deep run.

We have him making the semis at worst, and he should make the final. Punters get $4, which will shorten significantly once the tournament starts, and those odds should be snapped up quickly.

He’s a fit player, and if he faces Alcaraz, he should have enough in the tank to get past the Spaniard.

It doesn’t feel like that long ago when Stefanos Tsitsipas was one of the tournament favourites most weeks, but we’re giving him another chance considering the odds.

The 28-year-old Greek player lost in the Round of 64 at the Cincinnati Masters, but he’s one of the best players to have never won a grand slam, and he could turn back time.

He has two finals appearances at the top level, and although his last final appearance came in 2023, he could be a player worth following in the first few rounds, where he’ll likely pay generous odds to win his matches.

Will he win the 2026 US Open? Probably not, but he should provide punters with value odds in the first two rounds, and his confidence levels could build. He’s good enough to cause an upset over a top-ranked player.

Fils has already beaten most of the top American players over the last few weeks, and there can be an upset at the US Open. Recent winners include Daniil Medvedev, Dominic Thiem, and Stan Wawrinka, so it’s not always the top players winning this tournament.
