We have expert betting tips for Wimbledon, where Jannik Sinner is favoured to rebound from a shocking exit at the French Open.
The Italian is the $1.57 favourite to win, but there has been betting support for Novak Djokovic, who could add to his outstanding Wimbledon record.
We have our best bets for the Wimbledon Men’s draw, including our top pick and best roughie.
Best Bet
There is better value with Djokovic at $6.50 compared to Sinner at $1.57, so we’re taking the G.O.A.T to win another grand slam tournament.
The Serbian superstar isn’t getting any younger, but he’s still good enough to win, and not having Carlos Alcaraz in the field makes it an easier draw for the 39-year-old.
Winning grand slams at that age is almost unheard of, but we wouldn’t put it past him. He has an incredible drive to succeed, and if Sinner can’t handle the heat in London, like he couldn’t in Paris, he could falter.
Punters get value odds for the second favourite, so he’s a good value bet.
Best Value Bet
It took a long time, but Alexander Zverev finally got his grand slam win at Roland Garros, and he could double down on that performance.
The big-hitting German doesn’t mind playing on grass courts, and we’re surprised by the double-figure odds. He has confidence and experience on his side and knowing that he can beat the best in the world could see him win multiple grand slam tournaments.
He has played more matches this season than any other player ranking in the top 100, and that’s credit to his toughness. He has played 48 matches, with the next best being Tommy Paul at 41, so we’re happy to include him in our Wimbledon tennis picks.
Best Roughie
It can be extremely frustrating to back Alex de Minaur on a consistent basis, but we’re giving the Australian one more chance.
He had a good chance to make a deep run at the French Open, but he came unstuck, but he prefers Wimbledon, and he could give punters a sight throughout the tournament.
The big odds always make him worth a bet, and although he’s typically not good enough to win at the grand slam level, he could make the semifinals, and the $76 odds would be significantly shorter at that stage.
Next Best
The Americans are desperate for their next big thing to show up on the grand slam stage, and Ben Shelton is their best chance.
He’s still a young player, so we’re prepared to give him time to mature. However, he now needs to showcase his talents against the best players in the world.
Because he possesses so much power, he is always a threat to the likes of Sinner and Djokovic, so the $19 odds are worth including in Wimbledon picks this week.
