Adelaide vs. Port Adelaide Predictions
—
Best Bet
Adelaide is the better team in this matchup, and although we have backed Port Adelaide for much of the year, it was disappointing when losing to Hawthorn last week.
The Crows are playing excellent footy after posting four consecutive wins, and their one-sided win over Gold Coast last week put other teams on notice. The 107-46 victory was a great effort, and they’re consistent enough to keep winning.
Covering a –29.5 line isn’t easy, but with momentum on their side, Adelaide should be far too good for the Power, who have two losses from their last three games.

Same Game Multi
The best scoring options are Riley Thilthorpe and Izak Rankine, who we’re adding to our AFL same game multis.
Thilthorpe scored two goals last week, which followed a six-goal effort, and there is no reason why he won’t kick at least two goals against Port Adelaide. Its defence has opened up many times, so Thilthorpe should take advantage.
Rankine had a five-goal game three weeks ago before kicking a double last week. Punters get $2.08 for Rankine to have 2+ goals, which is good for boosting SGM odds.
We’re also including over 150.5 points. They combined for 173 points when meeting earlier this year, and we expect another high-scoring effort. The line is very low, especially given the way Adelaide has been scoring recently.

Best Value Bet
Boasting eight goals from his last two games, Thilthorpe is a man on fire, and he could get the Crows off to a positive start on Saturday.
Punters get value odds for Thilthorpe to get Adelaide off to a flying start, and we expect the Crows to take a sizable first quarter lead. Therefore, take the $8.50 odds for the Crows forward to land the opening goal.
